Join James Beard award-winning cookbook author and baker Sarah Owens as she guides you through an evening of handmade bagel making. In this 2 1/2-hour workshop, you will learn how to shape, boil, and bake delicious, chewy bagels made with freshly milled flour. While the bagels are proofing, you will discover how easy it is to create and maintain your own sourdough starter to bring flavor and digestibility to baked goods. Finally, you will mix bagel dough by hand to take home along with a recipe for repeating the process. Light nibbles and beverages will be served. This is the perfect evening activity to enjoy with a friend or come solo to learn something new! Beginners and experienced folks are welcome.

What to bring: an apron, a bowl to bring home your own dough, and a curiosity for learning!
