Ritual Fine Foods (formerly BK17 Bakery) is a small wholesale and mail order production kitchen. Led by award-winning cookbook author Sarah Owens, we specialize in baked goods and seasonal jams and hold workshops to share methods of natural leavening, fermentation, and preservation. Initially created from the inspiration of New York's regional grain bounty, RFF relocated to California in spring of 2020. Due to the extenuating circumstances of COVID-19, mail order and workshops are on hold until late 2021.
Although our products evoke the rustic feel of traditional recipes, they have unique flavor characteristics from organic heritage grains, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtfully procured global spices. The goal is to provide a wholesome experience with craveable flavors, easy digestion, and a platform to uphold sustainable relationships between our customers, millers, and farmers.
