Pan de Muerto con Masa Madre (Sourdough Day of the Dead Bread)
Temporarily Postponed - stay tuned for updated schedule.
In this 1 1/2 hour workshop, you will learn to make a sourdough version of Pan de Muerto based upon an adaptation of the celebrated Luis Irving's recipe from Panes Mexicanos. This delicious and rich bread does not spare yolks or butter for the holiday and is beautifully scented with orange blossom water with the option of a rosemary sugar coating. Wonderful on its own or dipped into chocolate de aqua at any time, but especially when the veil is thin between life and death during this transitional period of the year.
The recipe and link to join will be emailed in advance of the workshop. You are encouraged to follow along or the workshop will be recorded and sent as a link within 24 hours afterward. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com to your contacts list and check your spam folder if materials are not received within 12 hours of the workshop start time.
Space is not limited. No refunds or exchanges.
